Dr. Jeffery M. Reuben and Dr. K. Craig Boatright are experts in the field of spine surgery.
We are board certified, fellowship trained, spine surgeons. However, we are much more than a surgical practice, we are experts in the structure and disorders of the spine which covers a wide variety of conditions and treatments. If you have persistent and chronic back pain that has failed over the counter treatments or if you have pain or weakness that is acute or getting worse, you may need a spine expert. Only a small percentage of our patients need surgery. We provide a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses the root cause of your back or neck pain as well as neurological symptoms such as weakness or numbness. We help you understand what is causing your symptoms and the best, evidence based, medically verified treatments available. We do not require a referral to see our physicians. If you are ready to get back to the life you had before your symptoms, we are ready to help.
Jeffery Reuben
Dr. Reuben is originally from Chicago, but as an avid golfer and fisherman, he always dreamed of moving South. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis before attending Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
Upon graduation, he completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Chicago, followed by a spine fellowship at Emory University. He has practiced in the Lowcountry for over 20 years.
K. Craig Boatright
Dr. Boatright is a native of Georgia. He studied biology as a Woodruff Scholar at Emory University before being awarded a Rhodes Scholarship to continue his studies at Oxford University. Upon return to the US, he attended Harvard University Medical School. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Washington and a spine fellowship at Emory University. He has practiced in the Lowcountry since 2008.
